Sasha and Danny Howells Turn Up The Hi:Fi

If you were excited when we reported on the Hi:Fi North and Hi:Fi South festivals then you are sure to have palpitations when we tell you that the full lineup has been announced and it is an absolute corker. The festivals which are being labeled the new Homelands, promise to bring the best of the rock and dance worlds together over two massive locations.
Hi:Fi North, held at Mafen estate in Newcastle, is well represented especially on the DJ front. Highlights for the Sunday May 27th gig include Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, 2 Many DJs, Erick Morillo and Pete Tong with Maximo Park, Ian Brown and Subways doing their best to hold together the rock team.
Not too far away at Matterley Bowl in Hampshire we again see a dance heavy lineup for this two day event with Armin van Buuren, Danny Howells, Roni Size and Judge Jules being some of the bigger names. The live stage also has some good names to offer with Hard-Fi and the Super Furry Animals leading the charge.
