Pacha Pushes Past One

Text by Nick Lawrence (HigherFrequency)

Despite initially being plagued by police problems, New York City’s Pacha nightclub is about to make it through their first year of business.

The club will hold a celebration party on December 16th which will be co-hosted by the actor from the hit gangster show Soprano’s, Robert Iler, who was responsible for attracting police attention to the New York venue late last year when caught drinking underage. Now that the television star has had his 21st birthday Pacha’s publicists have jumped on this chance to bite their thumbs at authorities and cash in on the now non-issue.

Music on the night will be supplied by club part-owner Erick Morillo a name that has appeared on Pacha NYC’s lineup countless times throughout the year. Other DJs who’ve graced the decks over the past 12 months include James Zabiela, Danny Tenaglia and even hip-hop luminary P Diddy.
