Border Community Gets Higher

Text by Nick Lawrence (HigherFrequency)

Higher Frequency’s recently opened digital music store hrfq.com has been hand picked by label boss James Holden to offer the entire Border Community catalogue to all their hungry fans out there.

This means that in addition to all the tunes from Sonar Kollektiv, the driving tech hits from Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, and the massive catalogue of Ata’s Playhouse, hrfq.com user will now be able to stock up on classic tunes like the MFA ‘The Difference It Makes’ and ‘The Sky Was Pink’ by Nathan Fake as well as every upcoming release from this trendsetting British label.

For those living under a rock, Border Community was started in 2003 by then 23 year old James Holden who made a name by producing the hottest tracks, all using free software. Since 2003 the label has gone from strength to strength adding names like the Lazy Fat People, Extrawelt and Petter to their list of young previously underappreciated artists.
