www.samurai.fm New Music Update

Another massive week of updates with no less than 6 already classic shows from the samurai regulars as well as a few very special guests.

Heading up this week are two new shows from the TCR stable. One of the UK's finest breakbeat labels comes up with the good again with one mix from label boss and father of UK breakbeat Rennie Pilgrem celebrating the release of his new album 'Pilgremage' with this storming show featuring some of the tracks from his new album. Joining him is Chris Carter, another head from the scene who if you haven't heard of his music and you're into breaks you better change that right now and check out his show.

The Teqnicolor sound crew are back this week with a show from a newcomer who IS going to be the next big thing. He blew the roof off at Fabric last weekend with many who work at the venue saying it was the best live show performed there for a long time. Think sublime minimal techno and even Ritchie Hawtin's a fan.

Two of Scandanavia's prominent tech house producers contribute a guest mix each ready for their upcoming double headline show at Yellow this weekend. Jesper Dahlback from Sweden has been in the electronic music scene since the 80's and has worked with some of the worlds most reputed techno labels such as F Comminications, Pokerflat Yoshitoshi, Earthtones and 202 Vision. Jori Hulkonnen from Finland is currently on F Communications and has also had releases on 2020 vision. Both are leaders of the scene's in their respective countries and it should be a real treat to see them perform together.

Finally is a special live recording of UK Drum and Bass star Klute. Recorded at his recent appearance at Spiral in Aoyama samurai captured a close to 3 hour journey into one of the most innovative minds in Drum and Bass. Having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry he's currently riding high after the release of his fourth album, 'Noone's Listening Anymore' out now on vinyl with the CD version due to hit the shops at the end of January.

And it's not finished there, check out the regulars as well who keep coming with their resident shows, especially Compost Radio for their brilliant fortnightly show that will feature Richard Dorfmeister in their next 2 hour program due online next week, and lets not forget the amazing live set from Global Underground Tokyo's Taka Motomura ripping up the dancefloor's of Poland.

Stay tuned for the next update that will feature a Two Lone Swordsmen special in the run up to their upcoming performance at Yellow as well as a show from one of the biggest house producers n the world. Stay tuned to find out who it is!
