Paul Van Dyk Heads To SW4

Text by Len Iima (HigherFrequency)

This year's South West Four festival which will be held in South London and Cardiff (same as last year) on August 25th will be headlined by none other than Paul Van Dyk. What started as a backyard party with a couple hundred people in 2001 has turned into Europe's biggest dance festivals with a sell out attendance of 20,000 by bringing the biggest names in club music to perform.

The name of this event was taken from the postal code where the party is held. The Cardiff event was added just last year, however since the response was good they've decided to make it a mainstay. Past superstars that have graced the SW4 stage include Carl Cox (last year's headliner), John Digweed, and Paul Oakenfold. This year's line-up is just as star studded with Sasha, Roger Sanchez, Timo Maas, Pete Tong, Marco V, Sander Van Doorn, Plump DJs (and obviously PVD) playing out at both cities.

Tickets go on sale March 30th.
