Skrufff Show On Ministry Goes Weekly

Text by Jonty Skrufff (Skrufff.com)

Ministry Of Sound Radio have selected the Skrufff Show to become one of their key new weekly live shows, as the channel gears up for a major expansion in April. Skrufff's currently biweekly show is shifting from alternate Mondays to Tuesday evenings, keeping the same primetime slot of 6pm-8pm GMT.

"We're all huge fans of the Skrufff e-zines and the alternative electro music Jonty already plays on his shows and we're delighted to expand our relationship with Skrufff," said Ministry's station chief Rob Sharp.

"The Skrufff Show is both unique to our schedule and already very popular with listeners and we're looking forward to developing both the show and the station to the next level in the coming months and beyond."

"We're also very excited about the new weekly schedule which will allow us to play more great new music as well as inviting more guests into the studio, including our usual selection from the leading lights of London's thriving alternative electro- eclectic scene, as well as more established characters from a wider range of musical styles," said Jonty Skrufff.

"We've already confirmed upcoming live appearances from Layo, Princess Superstar, Greg Wilson and Larry Tee and we'll be actively chasing all the people we already interview in Skrufff on an ongoing basis," he said.

"We'll also be incorporating more of the news content into the show and developing it more towards becoming an aural version of our Skrufff e-zine."

Skrufff's first weekly show is on Tuesday April 4 (18.00 GMT).
