The UK's Bestival

Home of the first festival in the UK the original Isle of Wight festival the island has traditionally played host to events with much more of a rock lineup. This new festival however, organised by Radio 1's, Rob Da Bank, has some big name electronic artists headlining the event with none other than Mr Norman Cook. Returning from months in the studio to the live arena Fatboy Slim heads up an eclectic lineup of performers along with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Zero 7 Dub Pistols, Mad professor, Stereo MC's, Mr Scruff, Mixmaster Morris and local boys, The Bees.

Taking place on Robin Hill, officially the sunniest place in the UK the festival will be held in 88 acres of natural woodland in the centre of the island. Organised by Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank it's going to be a nice alternative to some of the more established festivals this year. If it nice weather!
