JAPANESE DISK REVIEW

davetwomey CHART

Based in Japan now, the 25 year old Brit expat is currently resident DJ for techno heavyweight CrossMountainNights @ Womb & at the `Lost in Translation'-featured Daikanyama club Air for Global Underground Tokyo where he notoriously twists the shit out of the usual GU music policy. He has recently returned from a very well received tour of Argentina & Paraguay with plans to return afoot already. Dave also heads up his own MYM show on the ever-growing internet radio station Samurai.FM.

Having stepped down from his very well-received 2 year long residency for Spice! at the legendary Space Lab Yellow in Nishi Azabu warming up what he considers the best club in Tokyo for the likes of Slam & Hernan Cattaneo, the latter one of Dave's biggest fans, today he is one of the busiest DJs on the Tokyo circuit. He has recently been asked to become a regular at the world famous Womb where he has also played on a number of occasions for the world renowned Renaissance & on the same bill as luminaries such as Nick Warren, Layo & Bushwacka & James Zabiela. Other regular haunts include the colossal 4000 cap. Ageha (for example for Ministry of Sound or Dimension K), plus of course his favourite more underground parties around & about other Tokyo clubs. Added to plans for further touring in Asia very soon plus a month & a half in Europe in the Summer, this is one gaijin making some deft moves out East.
