Steve Angello や Rasmus Faber といった DJ / プロデューサーの活躍で今大きな注目を集めているスウェーデンのハウス・シーンを支えるＤＪ/プロデューサーの一人 Axwell が、ロンドンの名門 Ministry of Sound のミックス CD をコンパイル。

今回彼が手がけるのは、これまでに DJ Sneak、Josh Wink、Mark Farina などといった錚々たるビッグ・ネームが手がけてきた Ministry of Sound の看板ミックス CD シリーズ “Sessions” の最新作。今年１月にリリースした “Clubbers Guide To 2006” に続いて Axwell にとっては Ministry of Sound から２枚目のミックス CD となる本作には、自身のトラックはもちろん、Dimitri From Paris や Bob Sinclair などと並ぶフレンチ・ハウス・シーンの立役者 DJ Gregory の ‘And’ や、ハウスをベースにエクレクティックな世界感を披露する Paolo Mojo の ‘1983 (Eric Prydz Remix)’ 、そして Underworld のヒット曲 ‘Two Month Off’ を Axer ‘1,2,3’ とミックスしたトラックなどが収録されており、Axwell らしいファンキーかつ親しみやすい内容のミックスになっていると言えそうだ。
